With the development of modern navigation technique, flight carrier and weaponrequire higher and higher of the navigation system’s performance and accuracy. At thesame time, application area also need the long time navigation system to be reliable inaccuracy, redundancy and fault tolerance. In order to achieve the higher precision oflong-and-medium-range navigation, a low-cost, hale, and autonomous navigationsystem—Doppler/SINS integrated system is designed in this paper.According to software development specification, this paper first introduced thetheory and techniques required for the development of navigation system and SINS.Then the error models of SINS and Doppler radar system are researched,and with thekalman filtering, this paper studies the data fusion of integrated system. In this base, theentire project carried out a detailed requirement analysis, including a detailed researchof the background of the project, strictly positioning of the project objectives, anddetermined the operating environment, analyzed the required function modules of thesystem and system performance. according to the demanding of this system, thesoftware and hardware design are presented. In system implementation phase, mainlyintroduce the specific technologies and methods, and then according to the achievementof specified program interface, make a statement of the system implementation. In thesystem testing phase, the results of many vehicle tests show that the designed systemcan provide several real-time navigation data accurately and meet the requirement ofinitial design.
