The Design And Implement Of Online Bookstore Based On J2EE

E-business has been in vogue in recent years and more and more retailers open their shops online which reveals a new original idea to consumers. The competition of bookstores has entered into a brand new field. It is no longer the competition of scale, but of technology, management and talents. And the improvement of technology and escalation of management come to be the competition core of most enterprises. Online bookstores are characteristic of great amount of sales, low operating cost, large scale of operation and high level of management.The system is mainly set in Hongliu Bookstore and it is an online bookstore management system based on J2EE. After detailed need analysis of the system, I provide the architecture design, part of functional design and database design on this paper. I still partly elaborate the implement of functions. The users of the system comprise clients, visitors, operators and administrators. Besides, its functions are divided into user management, book information management, order management, payment method management, delivery method management, book search management, shopping cart and book classification. Firstly, the paper probes into the background, the current situation and the significance of the selected topic. And business requirements analysis of the online bookstore management have occupied an important position in the paper. I get the overall demand, function structure diagram and transaction flow diagram of the system through need analysis. Secondly, in terms of every sub-module, their analysis and design has been fully described in the paper. How to develop the system based on J2EE framework is also concerned, together with the effects of primary functions in actual application. Thirdly, the principal difficulties I met during the development process are elaborated as well. And lastly, I make a conclusion and give a outlook of the system.The system integrates advanced computer network, B/S structure system of component technology and windows XP works as its Operating System for the network. In this system, Myeclipse is the development platform and JAVA is the very programming language, and SqlServer is the backend database. The Online Bookstore System has been successfully put into trial operation in Hongliu Bookstore. Its commissioning result implies that the system is operation-reliable, performance-stable, interface-friendly and convenient to buy books. In the other hand, the system contributes to expanding the amount of sales, reducing operating cost and improving the level of bookstore management.
