With the development of electronic technology, the troposcatter communication, as an important wireless communication method, also has a big progress. Especially the multi-direction troposcatter communication system, which is studied a lot and develops rapidly in recent years, has many advantages comparing with other wireless communication systems. They are as follows:· With short wave communicationMulti-direction troposcatter communication system is stable and robust, with high transmission rate and strong resistence to interference and interception.· With MW communicationThe troposcatter communication distance is long and it’s convenient and quick to move.· With satellite communicationThe troposcatter communication is with good confidentiality and strong resistence to reconnaissance.In recent years, with the requirements to multi-level commands and multiple bases combined battle more urgent, the study to troposcatter communication is becoming more important. Comparing with point-to-point communication, the multi-direction troposcatter communication system is with high integration, multiple communication links, flexible networking and high automation. Therefore, the research to multi-direction troposcatter communication system is showing a significant engineering technical orientation.This paper mainly talks about how to construct a multi-direction troposcatter communication system and deals with some technical problems, which are as follows:How to build the network groups in application.The multi-direction troposcatter communication is mainly based on scatter technology, meanwhile auxiliary with MW, short wave communication methods. So it requires to integrate multiple antennas on one communication vehicle,(including troposcatter antenna, MW antenna and short wave antenna), therefore electromagnetic compatibility needs to be paid attention on.The startup and launching procedure of multi-direction troposcatter communication system is much more complex than one-direction communication. And it requires to set up all the links in high efficiency in limited time. Therefore how to automatically aim at the best direction seems very important.The HPA cannot be turned on when the system works in the short distance training mode. So it needs to add small signal training mode to meet the requirements.How to build the relay station when one-hop distance is not enough in application.How to solve the vehicle combination problem so as to fulfill the point-to4points communication meanwhile no reducing the capability.
