Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar(ISAR)is a high resolution microwave imagingsystem. It has great prospects in target recognition,anti-stealth,astronomy and airtraffic control etc. It is an important research direction in radar imaging area. SinceISAR has prominent performances and wide military applications, it is urgent to studyjamming methods against ISAR, the work is important to technical modernization ofnational defence.In order to study jamming methods against ISAR, we should master imagingprinciple and imaging algorithms of ISAR, which provide the foundation for study ofjamming methods of ISAR. Based on the theory of ISAR imaging, the dissertation focuson jamming technique and realization methods.The realization methods of ISAR radarjammer have been designed, and results of experiment have been analyzed. The maincontent of this dissertation are summarized as follows.Firstly,the theory of ISAR imaging is studied. Target echo theory model and aspecial processing method (Dechirping)in range imaging have been researched.Motion compensation of principle including the range alignment and phase correct ofcorrelated movement are discussed. Range-Doppler(R-D) imaging algorithm of ISARhave been analyzed.Secondly,jamming techniques of ISAR are studied. Based on the jamming theoryof ISAR, some coherent and incoherent jamming methods including Radiofrequency(RF) noise jamming, frequency shift jamming and three type offrequency_modulated jamming are discussed in detail. The effects on the ISAR radarare simulated.Finally, realization methods of ISAR jammer are analyzed in detail and proposedimplementation of ISAR jammer. From functional principle to implementation methodsof different components of the jammer have been discussed comprehensively. Thesoftware scheme of master controller have been designed. The whole work process hasbeen divided into several software modules, the working process and flow chat of eachmodule are given. The correctness and effectiveness of jamming methods and design ofthe system are verified by the lab experimental results of of ISAR jammer.
