As military warfare of high-tech developing, the millimeter-wave radar becomes the important research subject in military electronic technology, and the jamming method for it is another focus point too. This paper researches the composing and feature of millimeter-wave radar, and proposes a system design plan based on advenced DSP and FPGA. The radar jamming simulator is required to be real-time, exact, versatile and advanced.This paper focuses on the three parts which make up the radar jamming simulator: the radar reconnaissance receiver, the digital signal processor, and the jamming wave generator. Firstly, this paper introduces the concept of the system compose of three parts. Then, it gives the detail illuminating discussion of the key modules, completes broadband high-speed signal sampling and digital processing with high-speed ADC, programmable logic device (FPGA) and specific digital signal processor (DSP), and realizes a wide-band digital receiver whose instantaneous band is up to500MHz. It dose the signal sorting and pulse modulation, too. Next, using the DAC, it generates the comb spectrum baseband signal which can jam at any frequency point and its band is up to450MHz. Finally, this paper gives the simulation results of all modules, and analyses the data collected. The results of simulation prove the feasibility and validity of the method in this paper.
