Quantum communication, a cross-disciplinary developed in the past decades, is anew research field which combines quantum theory with information theory, itsunconditional security is achieved by the basic properties of quantum physics. As thefirst commercial application of quantum information technology, quantum keydistribution has attracted much attention and developed fast in the past decades.First, the concept, background, progress and some related technologies of quantumkey distribution are briefly introduced. Secondly, built an experiment system consists oftwo unbalanced Mach-Zender interferometer based on phase encoding and BB84scheme. We produced the control pulse for Intensity Modulator and Phase Modulator byFPGA, and achieved high-speed data exchange between computer and FPGA by PCI-einterface. The electrical pulse is less than1ns and up to1GHz in frequency. Thirdly, weanalyze the stability of phase encoded QKD experiment system, Introduce severalclassic solution for phase drift compensation, and then gives a method to achieve activephase compensation using PS(Phase Shifter).Finally, we review the paper and givesome suggestions for future works.
