For the detection problem of forward moving targets such as the ground movingtargets in battle field or the low-altitude aircraft in civil aviation, research on groundmoving targets based on forward-squint-looking radar with horizontal multi-channel hasbeen done. Firstly, the slope range models of single-channel and three-channel radarsystem are given respectively, then the simulated echo including static scene and movingtargets are achieved. Secondly, two SAR algorithms based on forward-squint-lookingradar are studied, which are SPECAN and Range-Doppler algorithms, the processingresults of airborne measured data demonstrate the effectiveness of the SAR algorithms.Finally, the GMTI detection performance of forward-squint-looking radar is derived fromthe signal model of forward-squint-looking radar with horizontal multi-channel; thedifference of detection performance between forward-squint-looking radar andside-looking radar are analysed; the moving targets are successfully detected after theadaptive clutter rejection. |
