The future of communication network is the integrated network with kinds of accesstechnologies, and the terminal equipments have more than one network interface.Concurrent Multipath Transmission (CMT) based on Streaming Control TransmissionProtocol (SCTP) has become a Hotpoint in the environment of network integration. Ituses the Stream Control Transmission Protocol’s (SCTP) multi-homing feature toconcurrently transfer data across multiple end-to-end paths, realizing the aim to usingthe heterogeneous network resources flexibly and efficiently. The performance of CMTis found to decline due to the difference of bandwidths and delay among the pathswhich lead to data disorder at the receiver. How to solve data disorder at the receiverhas become the problem to be solved urgently. This paper reviews Concurrent Multipath Transmission protocol, analysis the reason, influence and existing solutions for data disorder. On the basis of this, firstly, a kind ofdata scheduling algorithm based on feedback is proposed, considering the dynamicchanges of the propagation delay and scheduling data at the sender. Then, a kind ofoptimization allocation of traffic flow and data scheduling algorithm is proposed, considering the dynamic changes of the bandwidths and propagation delay among thepaths simultaneously and analyzing this problem through M/G/1queuing model andoptimization methods. The simulation results show that both of the method caneffectively reduce the data disorder, improve the efficiency of the concurrent multipathtransmission.
