Satellite navigation technology has been widely used in modern society. Many researchers have focused on BOC modulation, which is a new kind of navigation signal modulation. Based on the analysis of the current acquisition and tracking techniques for the BOC modulation.The main contents are as follows:1. An analysis of BOC modulation signal characteristics is made, and a coding scheme for BOC modulation signal is designed. The simulation results show that the encoding gain of this scheme is about6dB.2. A PMF-FFT-based signal acquisition method for BOC modulation signal is designed. The simulation results show that the performance of this method is1.4dB lower than performance of FFT acquisition algorithm, but its computation complexity is much less than FFT acquisition algorithm; therefore it deserves much higher acquisition speed.3. The ASPeCT tracking algorithm is simulated as the code tracking method in this thesis.4. Based on the current carrier recover methods, a scheme of iterative carrier tracking for the BOC modulation system is designed. And the simulation results show the system performance can obtain about0.2dB improvement compared with the conventional carrier tracking scheme.
