Firstly, this paper briefly introduces the basic principle of the OFDM system,outlines the definition of PAPR and its distribution characteristics. On this basis, varioustechnologies of PAPR reduction in the current are introduced, and the advantages anddisadvantages of each method are summarizes. Next, the thesis focuses on the tonereservation (TR) based on the Gaussian pulse, the DFT-spread OFDM technology andthe piecewise linear companding transform. Finally, this paper researches the two fusionalgorithms DTL and DTP based on the DFT-spread, the tone reservation (TR) and linearcompanding transform (LCT, PWLC). The simulation results show that the powerspectral density (PSD) of the two fusion algorithms change little in the acceptable range.And the two fusion algorithms PAPR can achieve1.8dB to meet the required. The twofusion algorithms DTL and DTP restore the original signal through the iterativedetection, and the system obtains a good BER performance. While DTP has greatlyimproved the BER performance through the iterative detection, than through thedecompression function to restore the original signal. The inadequacy of the iterativedetection method is that its iterative constant is not easy to get and need to be debuggedrepeatedly.
