Design And Implementation Of Web Reports Tool Based On SmartGWT

At present a great number of Web Reports Tools have developed. Thoese tools are facing the challenges suchas reports flexibility,ease of use,efficiency and data consistency. There are also some flexible systems which however,are at the cost ofthe complexity and profession ofreports designing process and because of a high degree of product characteristics, it is difficult to integrate into specific projects.. Therefore in this situation, Web Reports System needs urgent innovation and establishing a flexible, easy-to-use and efficient reports system has been becoming a objective requirements.This paper studied a number of reporting tools, design and implementation the use of SmartGWT framework of Web reporting tool in B/S mode based on science and technology information resource center. The characters of module are that it doesn’t use XML-based template report design mode or C/S mode. The tool provides a way to let users through the Web interface, complete the report online customization, preview show in a variety of formats and report management and reuse, etc., to achieve a true sense of the "zero code" report design mode. While achieving a flexible, easy to configure the data screening method, simplifying the online customization process, and enhance the flexibility of the functional modules. In addition, in order to adapt to the characteristics of the uncertainty of the data source and to meet the reporting of data generation framework DynamicJasper formatting requirements, this paper itroducted a approach of dynamic data modeling.This reporting module is loosely coupled with the resource center. Not only can provide reporting services for the center, but also can be a separately business function.
