Research On Visitor Statistics Technology Oriented To Digital Tour

Digital tourism appears under the background of the Digital earth. In recent years,with the rapid development of information technology which use computer technologyas the core，make the realization of the digital tourism become possible. Facing the rapiddevelopment of tourism and the growing demand of tourist, attractions management andtravel agency need to gather the statistical information of the tourist numbers each timeperiod, complete the tourists streaming, formulate more reasonable travel route. Usingadvanced, automatic and higher precise technology of tourists flow statistics hasbecome a top priority and the trend of the times. It has wide application prospects andimportant practical significance.Gathering the statistical information of the tourist is an important application ofintelligent video surveillance technology, including integration of the moving objectdetection, pedestrian detection and classification, shape analysis, feature extraction,target tracking counts and so on. This article realize to gather the statistical informationof the tourist numbers and do the following research：(1)Using the Guassian backgroundmodeling method to model the background of the monitored area. Using detectionalgorithm based on a combination of background difference algorithm and timedifference algorithm can extract the moving target.(2) As the high number of tourist,the body occlusion is more obvious, we use the head as count-based features. In thebackground of the extracted movement, we extract the head area as the basis for imagetracking and counting with the head detection algorithm based on the Houghtransform.(3) This paper presents the nearest matching tracking algorithm based onKalman filtering which can analysis statistical number through the behavior. Based onthe study of the above, this paper implements tourist statistics and makes analysis inExperiment.
