The digital community, which has many functions such as administrativemanagement, resource sharing, public service, monitoring and supervision, businessservices and so on, is the element node of the digital earth and digital city. Because ofsome characters of digital community networks, such as heterogeneous, cross-domain,dynamic changes, the security problems of atomic services and composite servicesresources are need to be solved. Therefore, traditional access control model is notsuitable for the digital community network environment, which is likely to cause theinformation leak to the users while applying the services. In allusion to the problemsabove, the access control model in the digital community networks is studied in thispaper, and the main work is as follows:1) Access control theory and the key technology are researched. Traditional accesscontrol model are analyzed, with their superiority and inferiority studied. Consequently, theoretical basis for the study of the access control model in the digital communitynetworks is available.2) According to the requirements analysis results and by combining the features ofthe digital community services, fine-grained access control model for the digitalcommunity networks is put forward and designed, then, a fine-grained access controlmethod and the access control policy design are present, and an implementationstrategy algorithm is designed with its performance analyzed.3) Based on the access control model above, for the sake of the security for users’call of the service in the digital community, an adaptive security-function-call methodis proposed in order to ensure the users to adaptively select the appropriate secureaccess mechanism and effectively employ the service in the dynamic heterogeneousenvironment of digital community networks. On the basis of the above work, a digital community network services accesscontrol prototype system is raised, designed, implemented, and tested. The experimentresults showed that the system satisfies the requirements of users for the access controland the security of service-call in the digital community. This paper resolves theproblems that the traditional access control model have in a heterogeneous,cross-domain, dynamic digital community network, that is, the security requirementsfor the users to access the digital community services as well as the QoS is not well fulfilled. Therefore, security insurance for the programming and construct of digitalcommunity is provided.
