The development of science and technology leads to the appearance of DelayTolerant Network.This thesis makes Delay Tolerant Network routing protocol as themain researching object.We firstly describe the technical background of DelayTolerant Network.After that we compare and classify the routing algorithms presentedrecent years.According to the difference of network knowledge protocols utilized anddifference of delivery methods,these algorithms can be divided into Flooding-BasedRouting and Forwarding-Based Routing.After summarizing the application scenariosof Delay Tolerant Network,we analyzed advantages and disadvantages of eachalgorithm. Additionally this thesis studies the relationship of routing protocolperformance and buffer management policy.This policy is fit for flooding-basedrouting protocols.This dissertation proposes a new data gathering method to transmitdata messages to one or more sink nodes in network with node’s intermittentconnectivity. NLD achieves a good network performance by replicating messagesselectively to nodes that has the higher probability of meeting the sink.In this thesis, using the simulation software realize the routing algorithm, thenetwork scene simulation by establishing network model to the simulation algorithm ofthe pros and cons. The results show that MXCN is of good performance, it also can seethat the same agreement using different cache management strategy its performancecan vary widely, this shows the importance of cache management strategy. Simulationresults have shown that the proposed NLD data delivery scheme not only achieves arelatively long network lifetime but also the higher message delivery ratio with thelower transmission overhead and data delivery delay than some other previoussolutions for DTN.Finally, the thesis summarizes the researching works have been done,andprovides some further interesting directions....
