Research And Implementation On An Adaptive Web Service Collection System

Web service is a newly kind of application that supports interaction withinelectronic devices over a network. Web services can be composited in order toimplement complex functions which cannot be provided by single Web service.However, how to select an appropriate service from a lot of services with the samefunctionality is harder and harder as the increasing number of service.In this paper, adaptive service selection algorithm has been proposed. Thisalgorithm is made up of four major algorithms. Service clustering algorithm can help tocluster services into several groups. Heuristic service selection algorithm which is basedon service clustering algorithm provide the functionality of selecting services for usersefficiently and effectively. Exception handling algorithm and QoS negotiation algorithmpay attention to abnormal situations when the process of composite service is executing.Finally, adaptive service selection system, named RCASCS, is introduced. Inexperiment, adaptive service selection algorithm’s feasibility has been demonstrated bysimulation.
