Literature Research And Implementation Of The Full Text Database Construction

With the development of social science, social science resource database is increasingly getting emphasis and improvement. This paper firstly has a deep look upon the full-text databases and full-text retrieval information from both China and aboard. The techniques and basic principles of full-text retrieval are analyzed in detail. On the basis of above, the author also conducts a series of experiments to compare and analyze the difference between SQL Server and Lucene and the deference between Pan-Gu Word Segmentation System and ICTCLAS Chinese Word Segment System. The result of the experiments can be concluded that Lucene and Pan-Gu Word Segmentation owns more advantages. Then the author comes with the view of historical people and the nature of social science to construct a database with the combination of SQL Server and Lucene. The research on full-text social science database is both done by theory and by practical.
