Video Image Counting System based on video surveillance system is one of the new arising high-tech application fields.It spans many knowledge that from image engineering, computer science,pattern analysis,and so on.The key point research on this article is the the foundation and key technology in the intelligence video surveillance:the detection andretrieval of moving objects.This paper analysises and sums up the relevant research.Base on this,the paper makes feasible analysis on a Urea counting system based on image processing technology with detecting and retrieving the foreground technology.Proposed a method named "one frame-two way image counting technology".The main research contexts and results are as follows:1) In part of detecting and retrieving foreground,this paper analysis several background modeling methods.Then it indicate that it is difficult to choice the segmental threshold value by using the disadvantage of the background subtraction technology.The improved OTSU’s method is proposed for detecting moving object and so avoiding the difficulty.2) For heighten the calculating speed,analysing an image segmentation combining Otsu’s method and fuzzy entropy,choose a rationally calculation method.3) Introduced a software design scheme and the implementation frame which based on DirectShow technology for video capture and sampling of the requisite images. And it provides a precondition for the image processing program developing which using the OpenCv, intel open source computervision library.
