CCD is a new type of semiconductor optoelectronic devices. With thedevelopment of the semiconductor industry, CCD devices are widely applied toscientific research, and many other aspects of life. However, in the respect of theCCD drive acquisition circuit, existing programs have their pros and cons. Forinstrument containing CCD device, most of the domestic research in this area usesdeveloped abroad dedicated drive circuit, and the high cost of this part of the circuit,not toward the practical.For the consideration of many factors such as cost, stability, scalability,portability, This paper presents a program based on an ARM+CPLD as corecontroller with driving and collecting the linear CCD, that the primary controller isconstitute of ARM+CPLD(ARM microcontroller selected ARM7core LPC2138chip, CPLD controller select EPM240T100C5, their powerful features and the pin issufficient to meet the requirements of the hardware system design), ARM and CPLDis cooperating with each other,. They collect the linear array CCD (the CCD modelTCD1251UD) signal data and upload the collected data to the host computer, we canuse the host computer graphical programming software LabView control themthrough these methods, such as circuit reset, device detection, data conversion,transmission and preservation, the software interface can real-time display thecollected data, analyse and process the data for further. Binarization processingmethod is used for data processing.The experimental verification on the design of linear array CCD signalacquisition system is carried out, concrete steps of it are as follows: use the LED lightsource to irradiate the partial occlusion of the CCD, and collected data is uploaded tothe host computer through the serial port for further analysis and processing. From the experimental results, it can be seen that the test results of the diagramshows the location of CCD is sheltered substantially in line and its actual positionwith cover. The design of the linear array CCD signal acquisition system has basicallyreached the desired effect.
