In recent years,with the rapid development of digital technology,large scale integr-ated circuits design and manufacturing technology,the portable multimedia audio appl-ications are forced towards the direction of small size, multi-function, low power cons-umption and wireless networking. Based on this background,this thesis introduced one novel voice processing system based on TI’s C55x series fixed-point DSP and wireless transmission technology.It involved the g.722.2speech codec technology,the Sub-GHz band wireless data transceiver technology,data processing and communicating whitin a lot of external devices using DSP.Nowadays, in the field of information and communication, the most widely use is wireless communication technology, so the Sub-GHz band is designers’first choice for wireless sensor network and metering communication in low-power environment.Also, for the wireless data acquisition and monitoring, this bands are most used.SiliconLabs’ Si446x family of wireless transceivers has superior performance,which can cover from119to1050MHz band and achieve the best transmission range and battery life in wir-eless system design. It strengthens the effectiveness of radio frequency and low power consumption, which be suitable for a variety of wireless applications.In order to allow more channels to transmit other data flows and achieve effective utilization of resources, a reasonable and effective voice compression is indispensable. Compareing numerous international voice compression standard, our system selected the Adaptive Multi-Rate Wideband (AMR-WB) speech coding standard---the G.722.2algorithm, which was developed in2002by ITU-T, to codec the audio datas collected. The Establishment of g.722.2marks the Wired&Wireless Internet Business using the unified standard the first time.It also laids the foundation for applications in communi-cation systems and equipment for broadband voices, which particularly be suitable for ISDN,video conferencing,VoIP,GSM and WCDMA,etc.In the view of g.722.2algorithm has smaller compression rate and higher comp-lexity than other broadband coding algorithm,we chosed TI’s high-performance, low-power TMS320C5535fixed-point DSP to read and write the encoded data on SDcard, transmit digital speech data,decode processing,control a variety of peripherals,etc.In short, this thesis presented a wireless transceiver system,which is portable, co-mpact, practical. It is can be as a common platform for voice capture and playback or audio processing, or be used as a common platform for wireless transceiver based on DSP.
