Dynamic target tracking is a sophisticated, complex and practical technology, Which inmilitary space, missile trajectory tracking and detection, traffic peccancy recognition has veryextensive application, whether in military or civilian. In this paper, the research object is thepersons and vehicles, which under the complex background (complex background). UsingPhotoelectric combination, thermal imaging, video acquisition, image processing, backgroundmodeling and updating, target detection and tracking technology, process the image whichcollecting under CCD camera, thermal infrared imager, reaching the purpose of dynamictarget tracking. Considered to comply with project requirements, carry out the photoelectriccombined platform designing. Via the accurating localization of target, rearing control centerto provide more accurate information.First, the research of dynamic target detection in complex background, the trackingtechnology, designing a set of tracking dynamic target hardware platform based on DSP. Andthe platform for the demonstration program, detailed circuit design and test. This paperintroduces the image acquisition, data storage, image processing, data output, peripheralcircuit, finally has carried on the hardware platform for testing, can completely meet thealgorithm implementation.Second, the common image processing, target detection, target tracking algorithms arestudied, using adaptive background modeling algorithm realize the illumination, occlusion,rain and fog, the sway of the branches, water wave, machine jitter, moving too slow, complexbackground is simplified; The algorithm of background subtraction method and three framedifference method based on the effective implementation, detection of dynamic objects; Themass centroid based on dynamic target tracking algorithm for tracking. Through the experimental test, detection, tracking effect is more ideal.Third, research on thermal imaging, photoelectric integrated technology, design a set ofphotoelectric integrated platform based on infrared thermal imaging and laser ranging, static,dynamic target of long distance measurement, realizes the accurate positioning of the dynamictarget.
