Variable frequency power supply has two significant advantages of the low powerconsumption and high efficiency, so it has been more and more widely used in the industrialfield. Obviously, the detection of its electrical parameters is becoming increasingly important,on the one hand, it can protect the variable frequency power supply to be safe and reliableoperation, on the other,it can also locate the fault of the equipment followed by power supply.So, the research on the variable frequency power supply with electrical parametermeasurement function is of great significance. In this paper, the paper will study the keytechnologies.The paper outlines the research and application on the variable frequency power supplyand the measurement of electrical parameter at home and abroad.Combining the two workingprinciples, it proposes a overall design. In order to achieve complex control and signalprocessing algorithms,this design contains a high-speed digital signal processor.First of all, the paper studies on key algorithms of the design,such as SPWM modulation,the measurement of instantaneous frequency and instantaneous amplitude based on Hilberttransform. In order to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm, it also introduces thesimulation of the electrical fault signal by Matlab, and measures the RMS voltage by periodicmeasurement. This paper establishes the FIR filter model for eliminating the effects of thehigher harmonic by FDA Tool, and verifies their consistency by implementing on the DSP.To make the measurement system more convenient to operate,this paper designs a PCsoftware by Labview. It can communicate with the DSP by RS485, and the measurementresults can been displayed in real time.Therefor, the design has a practicality.
