Research On Access Control Technology Uesd In Optical Access Central Equipment

With the continuous development of the network,the network node devices(includingoptical access central equipment,L3Ethernet switches, routers,etc.)play an increasinglyimportant role in the network,while the network requirements for these devices areincreasingly high.Access control list(ACL)technology can be set by the node device accesscontrol policy development process to improve the data transfer,thereby enhancing devicefunctionality and performance.Traditional access control list related technology by the source address,destinationaddress and port number packet inspection and other fields as the basic elements,based oncertain rules determine packet forwarding behavior ACL processing using sequencematching in the rule matching process will produce a lot of problems,such as packetdelay,resource utilization issues,collision detection,as well as a collection of ACL stabilityproblems and so on.The content of research projects,mainly to resolve the ACL rule matching processtechnology in the emergence of resource utilization and conflict detection engine problems.In ACL rule matching process,the match length of the field is214bits,to support214bits field is much larger than the domain,we can store the ACL entries slice cascade toincrease the slice table for each entry entry field domain,the way this field cascade greatlyincreases the length of matches,improve the efficiency of each match.For each match mayresult in conflict action,this time we need to develop a set of rules to deal with theseconflicts,for a slice of the action in the conflict,often to take according to the size of theindex entry to select,implement the entry index number generated by a small movement,the conflict between the multiple slice,slice in accordance with the priority to execute,so bythe action of these two methods to solve the issue of conflict.Both ACL optimization method has been applied in Optical Access CentralEquipment.
