Abstract/Summary:
Heterogeneous network convergence is one of the key technologies of Internet of Things(IOT),to realize effective integration and seamless connection between wired network and wirelessnetwork. Because of its scalability, commonality and mature infrastructure, IP structure becomesthe hot spot of the heterogeneous network integration research.Due to the limitation of low power consumption and low rate, lightweight nodes in wirelesssensor network cannot load complex IP stack. Therefore, a lightweight IPv6technology is proposedto apply in sensor nodes of IOT, and realize an adaptation between standard IPv6and limted radiolink. Based on the lightweight IPv6technology, this paper defines a network integration model anddesigns an end-to-end communication system between sensor terminal and application hosts, finallyrealizes the seamless integration between the wireless sensor network and the traditional corenetwork.Based on the lightweight IPv6structure of IOT, this paper proposes three differentcommunication models according to the data transmission and processing mechanism betweensensor nodes and IPv6hosts. After the contrasive analysis, it is concluded that whether fromcomplexity, scalability or delay performance, the end-to-end communication model between sensornodes and IPv6hosts has strong advantages. Based on this model, this paper proposes a generalnetwork integration model, and uses6LoWPAN technologies to design a set of internetworksystem.Protocol adaptation, network addressing and lightweight protocol stack is the three keythechnologies of the network integration system based on lightweight IPv6, namely of6LoWPANprotocol,6LoWPAN neighbor discovery and the uIPv6protocol stack. After the overall and detailedanalysis of the three technologies, this paper discusses the implementation of them in the networkintegration system, and designs the software and hardware modules and the interactive logical ofsystem.Finnaly, the internetworking prototype system successfully realizes the key networking processat the initialization phase and routing process at the data transmission phase. Through the PINGfunction and the temperature and humidity acquisition function, this paper verifies the seamless andtransparent data transmission.The system is an attempt to achieve the IPv6technology application in wireless sensor network,and finish the end-to-end communication of heterogeneous nodes across network, which is bothmeaningful and valuable.
