To meet the needs of higher vocational English teaching, the research and development of multimedia teaching software is particularly necessary.Based on the present situation analysis and research of common voice reading software technology, according to the demand of the information technology professional English teaching, the MS Agent technology is systematically studied. According to the script content, the script behavior and the script provisions, the IT English multimedia teaching software is attempted to develop on the basis of the software MASH (Microsoft Agent Scripting Helper). At the same time, in view of the deficiency of common reading software and the disadvantages of MASH developing method, script engine framework and Text to Wave management framework are Created, the traditional design of the MS Agent is changed, the Advanced interpreter technology is introduced and a powerful script engine (based on the MS Agent script and TTS engine) is designed. On the basis of the engine, IT practical English reading platform is developed.In this paper, the multimedia IT professional English teaching software for higher vocational students’is given. The system can provide various forms of role play; To meet a variety of personalized user needs, the interface has wealthy humanization and affinity, highly interactive, more responsive to the needs of teaching, improved the teaching effectiveness and interesting; The separation of script content and script behaviors facilitates debugging, maintenance and expansion, and meets the actual needs of the IT practical English Vocational teaching, the system has received good results in teaching practice. With MS Agent and TTS as the core technology, the paper shows how the teaching software process is developed with the integrated use of the MASH and JScript technology, It has a practical guidance or reference for similar work.
