Face detection is the image processing process to judge whether the general imagecontains faces, and ultimately to determine the image of the face attitude, size and site. Inrecent years,with the progress of the world and the advance in science and technology, Facedetection plays a more important role in human-computer interaction,video monitoring, filemanagement, based on the information retrieval and safe access system, etc.Since it has greatpractical value and the huge potential prospects,Nowadays it has become an independentresearch topics which get the extensive attention by the researchers.This article mainly aims at the grey image of the static frontal face in the complexbackground, Put forward a kind algorithm of face detection based on Matrix absolute greyRelational degree of B-Mode and realize the face detection in the gray image.In the paper, we first deal with the image according to median filtering processing to geta clear, better edge characteristics image, then enhance the image according to contrast to geta better gray image to stand out characteristics, next we use the program to complete facedetection simulation experiment and to obtain corresponding experimental data in matlab, atlast we do the hypothesis testing made from SPSS software depending on the data thatobtained by the experiment.Finally the algorithm is proved to be effective in completing the face detection incomplex background and has good detection performance through the analysis of therecognition rate of the algorithm.
