The eyes are the main path that most people get information from outside,meanwhile the rich information including the personal mental consciousness to acertain extent be reflected by eyes. Now, these valuable information cause morepeople’s research, and the eye detection results are also used widely in real life. Howto locate eyes fast and accuratly and extract characteristics of the eyes discription isthe focus of the researchers.For the image that obtained under natural conditionscontain noise inevitably, and the influence of the light, shelter, shooting angle, alldecrease the difficulty of eyes detection.At the present time, People have put forward a variety of the eye detectionmethods, such as symmetry transform method, Hough transform method, special lightsource method, method based onstatistic, grayscale projection method and the methodbased on template and so on.On the basis of face positioning, I bring together the grayscale projection methodwith the method based on template matched, first,locate the eyes window on the facial;then utilize geometry knowledge and the Hough transform, extract the characteristicsof the eyes discription in the eye window area.The possible location boundry of eyes can be confirmed with the grayscaleintegral projection method in horizontal direction and eyes morpholoty statisticscharacteristic, then use the template matched method to extremely loate the eyewindow area in facial image. Eye search area was reduced for using grayscaleprojection, in addition reduces the affact of such as nose, mouth,so the similar eyepoint reduces with it, shorten the time of eye window extremely detection, andimprove the efficiency of eye window laction.The eye model in the image processing is circular, we use the gray integralprojection and geometric methods to determine the image in the eye centercoordinates and radius length.Due to the effect of shooting Angle, the human bodyposture, the eye is oval in images, and the point of the elliptic outline is not complete.To determine elliptic parameter equation, five parameters were needed, fivedimension accumulation array was needed in determining the eyeball parameter in theevent of utilizing Hough transform directly, the running time is very long and requireda large space. The geometric properties of parallelogram Ellipse center is the center of the ellipse,we can use it to determine the coordinates of the center of the ellipse. Thepoints in elliptic were center symmetric about elliptic is used to wipe out non-edgepoint; thus eyes detection speed was improved.This paper adopt MATLAB language to simulate, experimental result achievedinteded target,the effectiveness of arithmetic investigativing was to be proved.
