New internet business in data,voice and new business point of the rapid growth ofinternet network bandwidth made greater demands.Although the WDM technology can meetthe needs of large capacity,long distance,high quality transmission,which satisfies the networkand business needs,but if for each business to provide a dedicated wavelength channel,thecorresponding will make the cybersource utilization rate is low,the operation and maintenancecost is high.Therefore,in order to achieve higher resource utilization and the relatively lowcost of network equipment,it is necessary to efficient multiplexing a lower rate traffic flow tothe high capacity channel,is related to this technique is called the traffic grooming.At thesame time,along with the available in optical fiber wavelength number increasesceaselessly,ordinary optical cross connect equipment port number and cost increasesquickly.How to plan as a whole network of different speed,different types of optical path ispackaged into a high-speed data stream transmission service,as a whole to be transmitted,tomeet user requirements,to achieve the minimum optical cross connect equipment portconsumption,subsequently waveband grooming,has become a research hotspot.In view of the above problems,this paper consider how to effectively the traffic groomingand waveband grooming together,dynamically for subwavelength provides a high-speedchannel,large capacity,the end-to-end connection as well as the wavelength and the wave sizebusiness,this integrated technology also called multi-granularity grooming.I designed a set oftraffic management mechanism,in order to further improve the network performance,thepurpose to save the port,and the design of the reconfigurable heterogeneous in wavebandswitching optical network muli-granularity traffic grooming mechanism--MGH,designed fourkinds of heuristic algorithm:TG-MGH algorithm,WS-MGH auxiliary graph MGH-WIAGMGH-BIAG,auxiliary graph algorithm MGH ioint leading auxiliary graph algorithmMGH-IGAG,and MGH-IGAG improved algorithm IMGH-IGAG.To check the algorithm feasibility and effectiveness,this paper uses the VC++6.0platform simulation software is developed,to analysis and simulation.The simulation resultsshow that,in the port savings,multi-granularity optical network MG-IGAG algorithm is notonly effective for simultaneous performing traffic grooming and waveband switching,and canwell solve the problems of business diversity.
