Surveillance of spatial targets attracts more and more attention in many countriesand the system of the space-based surveillance of spatial targets gradually become thekey research direction. This dissertation proposes the method of orbit determination ofmultiple spatial targets based on space-borne phased array radar. Phased array radar isinstalled on the space-borne platform, and the advantage of the technology of phasedarray can be used to detect, track spatial targets in the model of two body problem anddetermine their orbits. Phased array radar receives the echo of spatial targets, and thenmultiple spatial targets would be separated in space field with the algorithm of nullbroadening and mainlobe keeping. And then the ranges of spatial targets are estimatedby pulse compression. Based on the ranges, the spatial targets can be separated in timefield, which can reduce the mutual influence on parameter estimation. Then theazimuth and elevation angles of the spatial targets are measured by sum-differencemulti-beaming. Finally, with measurements of angles and ranges of the spatial targets, orbits of them are determined by the algorithm of the least-square method, based onLaplace iteration. Simulation results demonstrate the validity of the proposedtechnique.
