Wireless self-location technology and navigation technology play an obviousimportant part in national defence and military affairs nowadays, At the same time, itshows widest foreground and giant commercial application in civil lives.Before long,this technology would be widely used in our lives. With the development of scienceand space technology, Wireless self-location technology and navigation technologybased on secondary planet become the primary mode in recent years. The investigationon arithmetic of location estimation corresponding becomes an important task forscientists.The representative algorithms for the self-location estimation technology aretime-of-arrival(TOA), time difference-of-arrival(TDOA), angle-of-arrival(AOA) andso on. The condition of self-location estimation is the nonline-of-sight(NLOS) situationfor most circumstance. The error due to NLOS is the primary factor for self-locationestimation, so the content of paper is studing how to reduce the impact of the error. Themain work and research results of this paper as follows: First, We Study theconventional methods for self-location estimation, like least-square(LS) andconstrained least squares algorithm. Then we study the recent new methods like timedifferent of arrival(TDOA), two-step least square estimator and constrained leastsquares algorithm. At last, we optimize the previous methods to improve the locationprecision, we also put forward our method, compare the effect of all the methods.
