Multiple-Input and Multiple-Output (MIMO) can offers significant increases indata throughput and link range without additional resource, which has become one ofthe key technologies in the future communications. However, there are a lot of coreissues remaining to be resolved. This paper focus on the problem of MIMO precodingand users selections in order to research the potentiality of MIMO and improve itsapplication.First of all, this paper researches on the MIMO precoding algorithm. In this part, itfirst gives an analysis of the principle of precoding, and then gets the precoding methodin all kinds of conditions. To solve the problem of Inter Cell Interference (ICI), anonlinear precoding algorithm is proposed in the CoMP for joint processing which caneliminate the ISI at the transmitter and avoid error propagation compared with QRbased algorithm. In addition by adjusting the row order of the channel matrix, the biteerror rate can be reduced further.Secondly, user selection algorithms for multi-user MIMO were studied. This paperproposed a new scheme based on the users’ efficiency channel capability for single cellin which users with multi-antenna. In comparison with other algorithms, this oneconsiders the cooperation of the users’ antenna. In addition, a simple MMSE based userselection algorithm for CoMP-Joint Processing is proposed. The simulation resultsjustify that the proposed algorithm can reduce the data transmission among the cells andget approximate result compared with the optimized one.
