To improve the robust performance of adaptive beamforming, the work of the dissertation can be mainly divided into two parts. First, a novel method of non-uniform diagonal loading, which the loading value is different for all array sensors, is presented. And the performances of beamforming with non-uniform are analyzed in this dissertation. The simulation results are used to analysis the beam performances as the diagonal loading values varying. Based on the conclusion, the desired beam performance can be obtained with the best non-uniform diagonal loading values. The intelligent optimization algorithm is adopted to search for the diagonal loading values, and the experiment and simulation result are used to prove the feasible and the effective of this method.Secondly, a kind of beam shaping algorithm is introduced in the dissertation. The multi-beamforming shaping approachs are analysised in detail, the simulation experiments verify that multi-beamforming can be used to shape of the beam pattern and enhance the stability of the beam. Then through the intelligent algorithm to optimize the phase and amplitude of the multiple beams, the perfect beam pattern can be obtained. The simulation results demonstrate that the multi-beamforming shaping method can not only broaden the main lobe, but also increases the main lobe gain. So the multi-beaming shaped method is effective and can increases the robust of beam.
