It is significant to protect security and privacy of information. It directly related to national security and harmonious development of the society and People’s Daily life. To achieve information security transmission, cryptology technology plays a very important role. Elliptic curve encryption algorithm is a public key encryption system, compared with RSA public key encryption algorithm, which achieve the same encryption strength with smaller sizes key. And Elliptic curve encryption algorithm is particularly suitable for high-speed application fields but limited of computing power and storage capacity and communication bandwidth. This paper mainly studies elliptic curve cryptosystem. hardware realization method which support five kinds of prime file (192bits-521bit).In the FPGA realizing of elliptic curve of the encryption algorithm, point multiply designed by this paper support point multiplication, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division on five prime fields at the same time. Basic operations of elliptic curve cryptosystem is point multiplication, but also, which is the operation of most consuming time, and its operation efficiency directly determine the performance of cryptographic algorithm chip. This paper is divided the chip circuit into point multiplication and point add double point and finite field operation module, and respectively the circuit optimization for three different operation on characteristics. Hardware implementation of configured for elliptic curve encryption algorithm which has great practical value, need larger expenses, but it can improve performance and convenient application.
