Research On Change Detection Methods In SAR Image

With the high development of synthetic aperture radar technology, SAR has been more widely applied to military and civilian fields, mainly involved the positioning of disaster area(such as floods, fires and earthquakes), analysis of the expansion of city and evaluation of the effectiveness of military combat, etc., so, the research on SAR image change detection is very important. At present, the research on SAR image change detection is in the initial stage, not a completely effective method can be used in SAR image change detection. This paper will research the change detection algorithm to improve the performance of SAR image change detection algorithm.This paper studies the classical SAR image change detection algorithms, analyzing their principle, pointing out their advantages and disadvantages. Based on this, this paper propose a SAR image change detection model based on sparse representation; According to this model, a SAR image change detection algorithms is proposed:using the SAR image before change sparsely represent the SAR image after change, by solving a related sparse coefficient matrix, get the changed area. By studying Compressed Sensing theory which including three core issues and combining the CS theory and the SAR image change detection algorithm based on sparse representation, a SAR image change detection model based on random sampling is proposed; According to this model, a SAR image change detection algorithms based on random sampling is proposed.The simulation results show that the SAR image change detection algorithm based on sparse representation has a good detection results, has strong robustness of the image intensity differences and can be widely used; the SAR image change detection algorithm based on random sampling ensures the effective of the change detection, and increased the speed of the change detection.Because the SAR image change detection contains a lot of related technologies and the time, this paper only studies the change detection technology in SAR image change detection techniques. In the following research, this paper will research the image registration, speckle reduction and the CS theory to improve the performance of SAR image change detection algorithm.
