The PCI Bus Design And USB Drive Development Under VxWorks Embedded

Since the system needs to apply to the high speed train on thedata transmission, of the processor operation ability put forward higher request, so chooseto POWERPC as the core to design the whole system.This paper mainly introduces the three aspects, respectively is: VxWorks operatingsystem transplantation, PCI bus design, USB drive design.This system chooses is VxWorks operating system, VxWorks has good real-time,high portability characteristic.Used in the railway communication is very suitable for, canguarantee the stability and real-time communication. This paper introduces the structureand VxWorks POWERPC processor operating system, and according to the level of theboard support package start-up process detailed description of the operating systemVxWorks the transplantation of work. Including board level of support package to write,configuration and modulation principle and relevant process, mainly around the debuggingprocess to describes system startup process, a lot of problems encountered in the process,and the corresponding solutions.This paper introduces the PCI bus’s standards and data communication process, andthe overall hardware, software design and relevant debugging process. According to theexternal interface processor and PCI bus the design requirement and choose the PLX9056the chip to complete the PCI communication. PLX9056need to complete the bridge, andthe PCI son PCI devices, one of them as the main PCI, the other as a PCI devices.Introduced the design principle and hardware circuit. According to the hardware design,detail the various modules of the software design. And the debugging process gives thedetailed narration.Introduced the USB interface, this paper describes the USB communication principleand and NANDFLASH, NORFLASH combination of file system. According to the designneeds to choose the CH376as file management chip and the completion of U plate and the SD card data access. Combined with NANDFLASH, NORFLASH, system designbetween and among the data access functions, this paper introduces the design of thesoftware.For each program was given the commissioning and principle, and made theinstructions for the debugging process.
