Detection of ferromagnetic material in iron ore slurry is one of important work of miningproduction in the enterprises. With the development of the socialization production, a number ofnew detecting equipment emerge, in the improvement of the speed, accuracy and stability.Compared with the traditional, detection based on the giant magnetoresistance effect has theadvantages of good linearity, high reliability small volume, high sensitivity, wide linear range,and low cost.Based on the principle analysis of the giant magnetoresistance sensor, in view of thecharacteristics of weak magnetic field detection, a simulation analysis on the weak magneticfield was made by the finite element software. The magnetic field was produced by iron oreslurry after excitation. The magnetic field value was converted to voltage value by giantmagneticresistance sensor output characteristic curve. The relationship between theferromagnetic material content and voltage was found by curve fitting method based on leastsquare. The detection circuit was put up, the detection of ferromagnetic material content wasrealized. And the accuracy of simulation analysis result was verified, so effective methods andexperimental support is provided for the application in iron ore slurry detection technology basedon gaint magnetoresistance. |
