Due to the reality that the noise in measurement of signals is inevitably, the filters arewidely used. Traditional filters are partly suitable for the linear systems. Or the complexityof the calculation process is time consuming. The algebra estimate filter doesn’t need toknow the mathematical model of the system and the statistical properties of the noises, butonly need a finite number of measurement to calculate the estimation of derivatives. Thereis no integral calculation in the calculation, so the calculation process is quickly. Thealgebraic estimation is useful for the real-time control and signal processing.This paper applied algebra estimate filter to controlling the spikes in neural massmodels and ship navigation system with the purpose of improve control effects. In thestudy of control of neural mass models, with the purpose of suppressing the spikes, aclosed-loop feedback control strategy based on algebraic estimate is constructed. Underthis control framework, the influence of difference types and numbers of neural massmodels, which control action are added on, excitatory gain and the coupling strength isstudied. The control effect is compared with directly proportional feedback control. Thusthe effect of algebraic estimate is proved. In the design of ship navigation system, STM32is designed as the core of the system with the GPS positioning module, wireless module.The electronic compass is cripple by the permanent magnet and magnetized metal around.The accuracy of electronic compass is difficult to improve. So the microcontroller maysend wrong instructions. In order to get the more accuracy angle information, the algebraestimated filtering is used to remove the interference of the other magnetic field in order tomake the electronic compass more accurate.
