As a diagnostic technology of mechanical equipment fault, the vibrationsignal of machinery is the most intuitionistic reflection for equipment state. So signal processing and feature identification become the core problem ofthe Mechanical Field. At first, this paper for a brief overview of some of the morecommonly-used methods for signal analysis concluded that these methods aredeveloped on the basis of the theory of the Fourier transform. Due to thecharacteristics of Fourier algorithm itself, only in a single signal in the timedomain or frequency domain, makes these commonly used transformationmethods have their limitations. The second, based on analyzing shortcomings of common time-frequencyanalysis method, as a new and effective time-frequency analysis method, theEMD Hilbert transform method is researched. Analysis the defect of its ownalgorithm on the mode fission and the end effect, and to investigate anoptimal method. In response to these shortcomings, this paper used filter noiseand endpoint extension approach to improve the treatment of EMD Hilberttransform. Finally, the simulation analysis of the simulated signal to test the practicality and effectiveness of these two methods. Finally, the Hilbert method is used to carry on the analysis of vibrationsignal through listing two examples. Firstly, the ironworks blower is lookedas the research object, the acquisition signals is obtained by the EMDdecomposition, and getting series of parameters about Intrinsic ModeFunction (IMF). Then using Hilbert transformation to deal with theparameters and getting series of spectrogram. Especially, Marginal spectrumcan clearly express fault information. Follow on the methods are used inblasting vibration signal which is mutations fast and attenuation fast. Themain vibration parameters can be obtained and provides a solid theoreticalbasis for the surface buildings shock Disaster Prevention.
