This article mainly is the summary reorganizes author many years based on thecorrelation home, the international standard carries on the successf ul network testingcase, the author has analyzed and summarized on test ing method for testing networkand main technical parameters, together with the rela ted areas in recent years in th efield of periodicals, pap ers, teaching materials and other articles, the author condu ctthe research to the existing network test method and carry on the improvement and theexpansion to the test method.The main contents are as follows:(1) In the n etwork twisted pair cab ling system test: bas ed on testing the IL,NEXT, RL and other parameters, aiming at the link level simulation test, we use the "three lengths of the three connector" or " th ree lengths of the four connector." testmethod; in view of the phenom enon is not easy to pass,when short link testing ofNEXT and RL,need to consider3dB a nd4dB judgm ent principles; for10G linkANEXT and AFEXT testing, we use the corresponding test models and test methods,to ensure that the network cabling system stably support10G application.(2) In the optical fiber network wiring te st: in view of the dif ferent testingenvironment, at the level1of certificati on testing using four test m ethods; on sitetesting of the actual situation, adopts the dual fiber paired bidirectional and dualwavelength measurement method, and selects the reel to improve testing accuracy ofmultimode optical fiber; in high-speed network optical fiber link, choo se OTDR andconsider the suitable range and resolution for level2of certif ication testing, lookingfor high speed optic fiber link in nonconf orming ele ment, connection point andmelting point, at the sam e tim e in a fiber link ends access com pensating fiberimproves the test precision.(3) In the network equipment testing, based on the testing throughput, packet lossrate, time delay, back-to-back parameters,in view of the actual data transm ission ofmultiple data packets exist at the same time, by adding a mixture of a data packet lossrate test; in view of the network backplane bandwidth capacity test, using the "lacingmethod"; in view of the network equipm ent redundancy performance test, the switchrecovery time test m ethod for network e quipment; performance evaluation tests, the application layer of light load and heavy load test simulation test method.(4) In a network system perfor mance testing, network perform ance testingmethod applied to several r eal cases; in view of the network under dif ferent loadconditions of the perform ance test, sim ulation of one thousa nd concurrent usersconnected to the load of a simulation test, simulation of ten thousand concurrent usersalso connected with the overload condition simulation test.According to different standards and test content, network testing range includ ethe network integrated wiring(the network tw isted pair cabling system and opticalfiber wiring system), network equipm ent, network system perfor mance, networksystem application performance and etc.
