| Virtualization is to operation computing component in the virtualizedenvironment instead of physical environment. It’s a simplified managementand resource optimized solution. In the IT field, virtualization technology isthe method to re-organize the limited fix resource base on differentrequirement in order to achieve maximized utilization. Virtualizationrealized the logic abstract and unified expression. It plays an important rolein the management and solutions of the large scale data center. It’s the basefunction to support cloud computing framework.Virtualization technology grows fast in the recent several years. To usevirtualization and cloud framework to support large scale service is thegrowth tendency in the securities industry. As a new computing and businessmode, virtualization and cloud will bring new experience to customers interms of large scale, virtualization, high reliability and applicability,flexibility, low cost, etc.Virtualization and Cloud is a new technology which can bring significantimpact to the securities industry and Stock Exchange IT system in the nextdecade. Therefore, to understand and study on this hot topic is veryimportant for the IT development in the securities industry and ShanghaiStock Exchange. The thesis has revealed whether Virtualization and Cloudcan meet the technical requirement of future Stock Exchange or not, whicharea it can be applicable. The thesis is also to discuss the approach how toapply the theoretical Virtualization and Cloud into the real IT system.Firstly, the thesis has introduced the background and status of virtualizationand cloud in securities industry, analyzed the definition and characters of virtualization and cloud, explicated the application scope of virtualizationand cloud in Stock Exchange IT system, defined Virtualization and Cloud，which is the base thought and design securities traders’ IDC and industrytesting environment is adoptable. The thesis focuses on availability andfeasibility study on virtual IDC, developed a complete measurement systemfor the availability analysis model and parameter indicator of the virtual IDC,conducted a thorough analysis on the development of Virtual Data Center intheory.Secondly, the thesis expatiated on the detail carry out of virtual IDC fromdata testing on the lab to authenticate the high usability of the virtual IDC.The thesis also did the analysis on the security methods from technology andmanagement which especially valued by the security industry. Meanwhile italso discussed the future of security industry.Last but not at least, the thesis focuses on the usability prospective of theVirtualization and Cloud in security industry. Defined the three-stepdevelopment approach from virtual IDC to cloud platform electronicexchange and then to the information exchange platform and finally madethe conclusion. |
