The earth is covered with vast waters, which are abundant in resources, waiting for human’s exploration and utilization. In face with the complicated and variable marine environment, underwater-robot has played a crucial role, especially the AUV which is regarded as the substitute for humans in prospecting, surveying and sampling, and salvaging in dangerous deep seas.This project is originated from the pre-research project named "Underwater Intelligent Robot-Underwater sampling technology", which is the special technique and research project by the General Armament Department in the "12th Five-Year Plan". This paper particularly discusses the following aspects;(1) With the knowledge of the development situation and the latest progress of the AUVs at home and abroad, combined with the development of the deep sea sampling technology, the importance of the deep sea autonomous sampling system will be discussed.(2) Based on the special funtion in the specific environment of deep sea antonomous sampling system, together with the requirement analysis, this paper will propose the feasible scheme of sampling system.(3) In order to ensure the functional implementation of the sampling system, the author has used the software "SolidWorks" for the realization of three-dimensional modeling and the kinematics simulation. Also, the author mainly designs the mechanism part of deep sea autonomous sampling system in detail to achieve this goal.(4) Combined with the mechanical characteristics of deep-sea sediments and the special water environment, together with the practical sampling action of simulation sampling system, this paper provides an analysis of normal execution when that is done fr om different angles, gives a force analysis of detail parts of the whole machine and studies its reliability,Finally, this paper concisely summarizes the contents of deep sea autonomous sampling system, as well as the advantages and disadvantages in this project. Serving as a pre-research project, this paper has put forward some personal gains and experiences in the process of research, hoping to provide some references for the further project, design and experiment.
