Spacecraft target detector images celestial sceneries and capturesthe targets intermixed in the celestial bacground。 conventional targettracking algorithms are based on comparing a series of image frames,analyzing object kinematic properties such as position,velocity andacceleration,as well as object attributes such as size and shape. Withoutsufficient distingusihing characteristics(eg.targets are similar;overlapping),Current dual band persistent surveillance systems have limit ability.With therapid development of airborne and airborne imaging spectrometers, How touse spectral information to enhance tracking system performance hasbecone a research focus。The MEMS technology bring many theories to practical applications。One MEMS innovation is an array of miniature mirrors,developed by TexasInstruments and call a Digital Micromirror Device(DMD)。DMD containssmall,individually addressable mirrors.the mirrors can be set to direct lightin two different directions.this allows the DMD to act as a rapidlyreconfigurable slit。Conbined with dispersion system,DMD can direct onlyspecified portions of the spectrum to the image sensor. the image sensor canimage the scenery under different spectrum,the conbination of objectkinematic properties and spectral information can enhance the capturingcapability significantly.As typical representation of the multi-channel spectra technology,Hadamard transform imaging spectrometer increases the system luminousflux apparently and the SNR is also increased.Hadamard transform imaging spectrometer command the movement of coded aperture can be as precise asten microns, DMD can replace the conventional mechanical template,reducing the cost and volume of the system significantly.Considering the actual situation of the detectors,this paper has donework in three aspects:1.circuit design,control DMD through FPGA interface;2.proposal of a moving multi-target capture algorithm for celestialbackground;3.analysis of how to enhance the multi-target capture capabilitywith spectral information.
