Aiming at developing a stroke diagnosis and treatment system, this paperprovides a series of approaches to solve the problem encountered in strokediagnosis and treatment on the basis of case-base reasoning in artificial intelligencefield and association rules technology in data mining, in order to achieve theinformatization and intelligent of the stroke diagnosis and treatment.Case Based Reasoning (CBR) is a recently developing problem solvingmethod in the field of artificial intelligence. It’s quite significant for this method tobe used in the medical diagnosis and treatment field, to improve the accuracy andefficiency of medical diagnosis, to promote the development of intelligent medicaldiagnosis technology. The stroke diagnosis cases are classified as case sets by thecharacteristic based on the demand of the stroke diagnosis system on the foundationof the characteristic-based case expression. The multi-Categories structure of thecase base of this system, is formed on the basis of the key characteristic which isabstracted from stroke cases, which could reduce the complexity of the caseexpression and case management and case construction, and could enhance theindex speed and efficiency dramatically.Association rules are to be applied to stroke diagnosis and treatment, to findthe possible regular pattern in stroke data by mining in a large number of car strokecases. For example,to mine the correlation between prescription medication, tomine the rule between the symptoms and the corresponded prescriptionmedications,to effective screening prescription optimization, in the form of rulesto come out now, in order to prevent the case redundancy, to low theexecutive efficiency. Case-based reasoning and association rules, accomplishstroke diagnosis and treatment, and improve the ability of the strokediagnostic, which provided a new solution for stroke diagnosis. Finally, based on the above thoughts, a stroke diagnosis and treatmentprototype system is established and the emulation test to the system with stroketreatment cases in field proves the reasonability of the design and the validity of theimplementation....
