With the development of industrial production, use only single-motor drive system has already can’t meet the demand of modern production in some occasions, the application of multi-motor drive system makes the mechanical structure of the production machinery simplify greatly and easy to realize all the automation of production mechanical operation, thus has been used more and more widely in the industrial fields. In multi-motor drive system, and some need strict synchronization between the electromotor shaft, while others need to have a certain ratio of the motor’s speed or displacement. In order to improve the dynamic and static performances, and to increase the load ability of the system, the problem of synchromzed drive of multiple motors must be taken seriously, thus, the synchronous control of multiple motors is very important.Firstly, in the thesis, the structure and control method of the multi-motor synchronous control are introduced, and the master-slave control as well as PID control method based on model reference adaptive control are decided to use.Secondly, the development and current status of the AC motor speed control technology are described. The motors adopt the method of variable frequency speed regulation and the paper mainly focus on the analysis of asynchronous motors’mechanical characteristics when the voltage as well as frequency are different, and establishment of mathematical model of frequency converter and the motors. The method of model reference adaptive control is designed to compensate the impact while the features of object change.The simulations of PID control, model reference adaptive system and PID control based on model reference adaptive system are carried out in the environment of Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results indicate that the characteristics of PID control based on model reference adaptive control combine the advantages of PID control and model reference adaptive control. make the system have good tracking performance as well as synchronous control accuracy, high response speed, and strong anti-jamming ability.Finally, the principle of rope guider for transport winch is introduced. In the system, the MSP430F2618single chip is used as a control chip and the design of electronic control system with hardware and software for transport winch are analyzed.
