With the rapid development of Internet technology, which greatly promoted thepopularity of digital media, and the demand of user for multimedia information is alsogrowing. However, the traditional C/S structure-based streaming media technologycan not meet the demand of large-scale on-demand streaming service. IP multicasttechnology needs the support of hardware such as routers, so it is difficult to widelydeployed. CDN distribution system can provide high-quality streaming media ondemand services, but the cost of deployment is high. By contrast, the use of P2Ptechnology enables network nodes not only receive data but also to send data, andmake full use of idle resources in the network nodes, and can provide a stable andreliable on-demand streaming service.This article firstly study the P2P streaming related technology, and summarize thecharacteristics and topology of P2P streaming, by comparison and analyzing theseveral typical P2P streaming media on-demand model, and the rusults showed thatDoNet model has been widely uesed in the industry for its simple structure, flexibleand practical features. However, DoNet model the data distribution mechanism islagging behind, resulting in playback continuity is not high, and greatly affect theuser’s viewing experience.In this context, this article optimized and improved DoNet model, and designed ahigh playback continuity of P2P media streaming on-demand model BPSC, the modelof the network topology DoNet build a Chord network, according for DoNet model toplay a lack of continuity. each node in the system continue to calculate which datacache scheduling algorithm may be omitted, if there is bemissing data block start dataprefetching algorithm to inform the Chord network to quickly find and return the data.The model takes full advantage of distributed precise search characteristics of theChord network, thereby increasing the playback continuity of the system. Theexperiments indicate that BPSC model which proposed this artical can overcome thedefects of the DoNet model playback continuity and has some advantages inscalability, efficiency of the system.
