In order to improve the performance of Ultra Wide-Band (UWB) communication system,so many transmission styles based on UWB sysem have been attracted people’s attention,such as UWB technology based on DSSS, UWB technology based on OFDM, UWBtechnology based on MIMO and so on. In this paper, the new combination method of UWBtechnology based on Parallel Combinatory Spread Spectrum (PCSS) is mainly mentioned.Compared with traditional UWB technology, the new technology owns the advantages ofhigh-rate transmission and better anti-interference and has been one of popular technologies.On the one hand, the model practicality of UWB system based PCSS technology isanalyzed in theory, and then the application principle of PPM modulation in the new methodand the BER performance is studied. Moreover, the BER expression of the system in theory isobtained. Through theoretical analysis, the main factors effect on the performance ofPCSS-UWB communication system has been found, including UWB modulation, the periodof PN code in PCSS, the sum of spread spectrum sequences and the number of selectedspread spectrum sequences. On the other hand, after analyzing the feature of UWBcommunication system based on PCSS technology in theory, we build up the model of UWBmulti-user communication system based on PCSS technology. What’s more, by means ofsimulation, we also analyze the change rule of the multi-user system performance on thecondition of different users. And then we propose a suitable algorithm named DecorrelationDetection algorithm (DEC) and it has the ability of Multi-Access Interference (MAI)mitigation.In this paper, from two views of theory and simulation, we prove the model feasibility ofUWB communication system based on PCSS technology, decrease the effect of MAI on thecondition of multi-user communication and provide the new idea to design the physic layerand network layer of UWB commmunication system.
