In recent ten years, net video application is becoming much more popular which demondsextremely wide bandwidth.Athough bandwidth has increased to10GE,HD video still demandsmore. Therefore, video compression technology is developing to lighten heavy burdens ofinternet which can use channel and restore resources efficiently and economically.H.264is a new standard that promises to outperform the earlier MPEG-4and H.263standards, providing better compression of video images,by using some critical technology suchas:inter and intra prediction,4×4Luma DC Coefficient Transform and Quantisation,1/4pix and1/8pix motion vector prediction, and so on.But for using inter and intra prediction andvariable-length coding technology,H.264code steam is weak to resist channel error aftercompression. To overcome those weaknesses, this paper analysis H.264structure with its encoding anddecoding process, including some critical technology.we stressed on traditional error conealmentalgorithm, after lucubration we proposed a Improved error concealment method with weightedboundary matching algorithm, this algorithm recover the lost MV in the lost frames. applying aweighted motion estimation scheme by minimizing a distortion function which exploits bothspatial and temporal smoothness properties of the video signals. The experiment resultsdemonstrate that the proposed algorithm can recover better quality images compared with classicboundary matching algorithim(BMA).the PSNR of recoverd vedio stream is0.2-2.4dB betterthan the BMA stream. This paper also do research on Blackfin533DSP Processor, according to its excellenthardware and instruction set,we optimize H.264decoder code, and transplant it to Blackfin533by developing embedded uClinux operation system.
