Single Image Super Resolution For License Plate Image Enhancement

License plate image enhancement is the key step of license plate recognition system. The primary purpose is to improve the quality of license plate image, in order to improve the recognition accuracy of the license plate recognition system.For the license plate image, to research and implement the license plate image enhancement based on the single image super-resolution algorithm. Through analyze the degeneration reasons of license plate image, first to establish a sparse priori model, then based on high-resolution images and low-resolution images to establish the over-completely dictionary. Finally combine the sparse priori model and the over-completely dictionary to reconstruction the high-resolution image. Accomplish the license plate image enhancement.The experiment result certificated the superiority of our algorithm.
