Since the emergence of wireless communication, it has been developed as an alarming rate. The development goals of the fourth-generation communication are to communicate with anyone in any time at any palace, and now the global are devoted to study the4G. But with the wide application of wireless technology, the scarcity of spectrum resources has become a bottleneck to curb the development of wireless communication technology. Compared with CDMA, which is the core technology of3G, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing has become one of the core technologies for fourth generation mobile communication with its high spectral efficiency and a strong anti-interference ability. Therefore it has very important significance to do in-depth study for OFDM.Channel estimation technology and how to reduce the PAPR are two most critical technology of OFDM systems, they have a direct relationship with whether the receiver can demodulate the send information correctly.In this paper, the author do research on channel estimation algorithm and how to reduce the PAPR technology in the following aspects.First, by reading the extensive literature, the author analysis the background of this study and statements the current of OFDM technology, then proposes the significance of this paper. On this basis, analysis of the characteristics and channel model of wireless communication system.Second, in the premise of studying the basic principle of OFDM system in detail, studying its key technologies and achieving means, then use simulink of matlab to simulate the OFDM systems.Third, analysis several classical channel estimation and interpolation algorithm respectively, and using different pilot for these types of algorithm simulation. And then, the author do optimization and improvement for DFT algorithm, proposing a DCT interpolation algorithm based on windowed filter. The simulation results show that the algorithm can be increased the channel estimation performance of the system on a certain extent.Finally, studying another key technology of OFDM systems-to reduce PAPR, and has been improved the hard limiter algorithm by the receiver of reconstruction and amendments limiting equivalent. In addition, do a comparison for the selected mapping and partial transmit sequence method, the simulation shows that the latter is not only the complexity is smaller, and with better performance.
