With the development of high-tech navigation, the navigation system used in ships hasbecome necessary to the development trend. In terms of performance, or from a functionalperspective, the performance of navigation system navigation device is better than a singledevice. Even if the working conditions are terrible, the location of integrated navigationsystems are more accurate, have a high precision, robustness is also very strong. Because ofintegrated navigation system are so powerful, so once failure is disastrous consequences. Toensure the integrated navigation system in case of interference by the fault will still worksteadily, fault diagnosis technology research and application is imperative.First, this paper takes SINS/GPS/DVL integrated navigation system as example,introduce the working principle and characteristics of the navigation subsystem, analyse thecauses of leading to the navigation subsystem failure.Secondly, based on the comprehensive set of fault diagnosis methods at home andabroad, take the method which is widely used at present does not depend on the model offault diagnosis. Because of the integrated navigation system of its own high-end complexity,a single fault diagnosis method has been unable to meet the requirements of accuratediagnosis, so this does not depend on the model in fault diagnosis method in selected neuralnetwork, genetic algorithm, wavelet transform and fuzzy reasoning these four methods, andthe latter three were carried out with the first organically combined into three kinds of faultdiagnosis method that BP neural network with genetic algorithm, wavelet neural network andfuzzy neural network take the methods for SINS/GPS/DVL integrated navigation systemfor fault diagnosis simulation.Then introducing the three combinations of fault diagnosis algorithm theory, take thegyro fault diagnosis as example, three methods verified the feasibility of fault diagnosis,design the schematic of each method of fault diagnosis for integrated navigation system.Simulate with MATLAB2011programming software for three methods of SINS/GPS/DVLintegrated navigation system fault diagnosis.Finally, the analysis of three fault diagnosis method based on simulation results, integrateddecision-making method based on SINS/GPS/DVL integrated navigation system for faultdiagnosis is proposed. The method divides the SINS/GPS/DVL system into three modules:measurement module base on speed, observed quantity module of position and informationmodule of SINS. For different modules, according to the first three combinations of fault diagnosis simulation results, choose one or two kinds for fault diagnosis. Each module ofdiagnosis results compared with final diagnosis, verify the effectiveness and feasibility of theintegrated decision-making method.
