The diode-pumped solid state single-frequency lasers broaden the range of application of the lasers. Because the diode-pumped solid state single-frequency laser has the superior performance. it became an important research object. This paper mainly analyzed the influence of the nonlinear spectral bandwidth to the single-frequency theoretically and experimentally.Firstly, the general method of the single-frequency laser, and its development at home and abroad have been introduced. Secondly, the basic theory of intracavity frequency doubling single-longitudinal-mode lasers has been introduced. Thirdly, the space burn holes effect which causing the multi-longitudinal mode has been analyzed, and the single-longitudinal-mode operation equation has been derived too. The influence of the nonlinear spectral bandwidth to the longitudinal mode has been also analysed. The final chapter is the experimental researchA experimental research of LD end-pumped crystal component Nd:YVO4+KTP is presented. In the case of without inserting any frequency selector, with900mA LD working current,66mW single frequency532nm laser is obtained. Stability is better than0.99%. The experimental results show that this structure type of laser provides an effective method for high stability, miniwatt and low-cost single frequency lasers.
